Accounts that utilize a saved card on file will need to re-enter their card info to process payment at check out. Cards currently saved on file are no longer able to be accessed for use in the system.

Beginning August 18, 2026, a non-refundable 2.75% card service fee is charged separately by Elavon for all credit or debit cards payments. City of Palo Alto does not retain any portion of this fee. Autopay Notice: If you are enrolled in automatic payments using a credit or debit card, the 2.75% service fee will apply to those recurring transactions starting August 18, 2026.
